Hey Guys,
I havent been a member of this forum for too long so i dont know if you have done this before but I was thinking of getting together for a ride somewhere and have a sporting event (footy , cricket or anything) and then have a BBQ all together?
Maybe its a silly idea but as the weather is getting better i thought it may be a good fun ?
All ideas are welcome as i dont know London very well?

Old deer park near Richmond swimming baths has cricket / baseball and rounders pitches marked out in the summer, but I'd rather a ride somewhere else..
However if beer is involved could be handy

There is a car park on the Fairlight Road, between Hastings and Rye that has permanent BBQ's set up and hard standing for the bikes, plus on a half decent bit of road.
Just take along the grub and fuel...ooops nearly forgot the beer, then we are sorted
'>
Only probs with too much beer, would need collecting otherwise it would be a bit of a wobbly ride home, or more so than usual

Now this also sounds like a good idea, Scorps was thinking along the same lines..
'>
note to self: dont put paddling pool to near the bbq in case of sparks.

Good idea, should we move that into this section so it doesn't get lost again.
also, with this new event we may get some more names on the list... Trouty, would you like to referee the main event???

I just going to follow ... Thats my motto on this forums... "XT follow them"
Or i can bring car to pile up the things (4x4) as i will like Mrs Xt to come as well...
Anyway once we make a decision i shall see what we do...
That park is it any good for sports or lets forget about sports and talk about food and beer
